Good Morning from the East Coast, and Happy New Year.

The beginning of the new year brings a renewed longing for what could be if we closed our eyes and imagined the world anew. This is the question of the writer. The writer is constantly trying to put the world back together; in the upcoming months, we will have a new Congress, the anniversary of the terrorist attacks on our nation's capital building, and the man who led those attacks is still on the loose. President Biden will announce soon that he is seeking re-election, and no serious Democrat will challenge him for the nomination.

No one knows what 2023 has in store for the world, but Good Luck Republic will provide a little clarity through the noise.
