Badass Biden

President Joe Biden is a badass, and I'll admit I find it odd writing a post in which I describe the current President in such language; however, when you visit an active war zone and all but taunt the enemy to attempt to do something, the shoe fits. While Republicans are out talking about civil wars and openly rooting for national divorces, not to mention America's enemies, President Biden is putting America back on the international stage. The North American Treaty Organization is standing firm. At the same time, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin attempted to weaken Europe's allies and wanted to restore Russia to the prime of the former Soviet Union.

If one believed polling which is, in all honesty, all over the place, many would be led to wonder if the United States was willing to continue supporting the Ukraine effort against Russian aggression. President Biden's recent visit shows that the United States is not ready to back down in the face of Russian aggression. Putin does not realize that the more he pushes into Ukraine and elsewhere in Europe, the coalition of voters in the United States seems to grow stronger.

Putin recently announced that he would no longer participate in the New START Treaty. This is the final treaty that exists between the United States and Russia as it pertains to nuclear weapons. The treaty allows each nation that is a party to inspect the other countries' nuclear arsenal multiple times a year and ensures active communications are maintained. Putin then went on to clarify that the Russian nation was not abandoning the treaty entirely. While Putin hopes this will lead to more countries seeking negotiations that would allow Russia to keep a portion of Ukraine.
