No Labels
Helping Elect Trump
The organization No Labels, which seeks to bring Democrats and Republicans together to solve the partisanship of our political system, recently released a map that shows their third party yet unknown Presidential candidate and Vice President receiving a total of 286 electoral votes. The Arizona Democratic Party is suing the organization to ensure they can't appear on the state's ballot. Any attempt by any third-party candidate to run for President at this moment will only serve to elect the greatest threat to the global liberal order, and that threat is Mr. Trump.
I am not innocent by any means in having a fascination with the No Labels organization. I genuinely believed in their mission to unite political parties and end partisan gridlock. However, at this point. It is apparent that the organization is no longer interested in seeking an end to partisan rancor but would instead enrich the organization's founders. The denial of Mr. Trump's return to the White House is the most important thing facing the Republic. If Trump somehow returns to the Whitehouse the American Republic will again be under an all-out assault, the likes of which we have not seen. It would be catastrophically worse than his first term. The fact that No Labels is pushing an idea that somehow a third-party candidate could win at this point is like giving the patient who is dying of cancer, and the doctor knows damn well that it is incurable false hope. No labels is providing false hope to the people in the hopes that Mr. Trump will somehow be defeated by a third-party candidate who No Labels has yet to name.
At this point, a vote for a third-party candidate is a vote for the Republican Party, which in its current state is an illiberal political party. This party does not wish to support the fundamental values of a Democracy.
