Six Months since the Terror Attack on our Capital
It has been six months since Trump-inspired terrorists attacked the nation's capital in Washington D.C. Many in Republican circles attempt to rewrite the story of what happened that day that showed how little respect members of the Republican Party have for law enforcement officers and American Democracy.
Even six months after the Trump terrorists assaulted our nation. We continue to see a glee for violence on the right and hear from virtually no one in any leadership capacity pushing back against Trump or anyone else in the Republican Party who clings to the lie that got cops killed. Republicans have launched an all-out assault on the truth, which they use daily through their disinformation channels, including Fox News and many other outlets. Some of the more crazy ideas are that the FBI decided to make Trump look bad; it was ANTIFA or another left-wing organization. Democrats are running away from the truth when in reality, we have the fact on our side. A sitting Republican President inspired Republicans to harm this Republic.
We cannot afford to forget the history of that day, just like we cannot afford to rewrite the history of the civil war or the atrocities committing in our names by a president who caged children. We must never allow ourselves to forget the horrors of January 6th and the terrorism that an American "leader" gleefully supported.
